Nicole joined the Infant Caregiver Project in January of 2008. She was previously the lab director of the Parent Teen Project in the Family Relations Lab at the University of Delaware. Nicole immensely enjoys working with children and families. She is particularly committed to working with at-risk, economically disadvantaged populations.

Nicole came to the University of Delaware in 2003 from San Diego, California where she was born and raised. She has a B.S. in Sociology from Santa Clara University and has held research positions at Stanford University and University of California, San Diego. Since coming to the University of Delaware, she has earned a M.A. in Criminology and is now a doctoral candidate in Criminology, presently writing her dissertation.
