Kristin joined the Infant Caregiver Project in 2006 as a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Delaware. She came to the Infant Caregiver Project Lab because of her interest in attachment-based intervention programs for at-risk infants. Kristin is excited to be involved with several projects examining the effectiveness of the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up intervention for children who have faced early adversity. She recently became involved in efforts to disseminate the ABC intervention and will be examining associations between trainers' own attachment state of mind and their effectiveness as parent trainers.

Kristin is also interested in foster care commitment. She recently completed a project examining how caregiver commitment is communicated to children and found a significant association between foster caregiver commitment and behavioral delight in the child. Kristin is eager to continue to explore these issues throughout her time in graduate school.
