Foster children’s diurnal production of cortisol: An exploratory study

This paper presents findings regarding daily patterns of cortisol production among young children in foster care. These findings have been important in informing our intervention. In particular, after finding that many foster children appear to have dysregulated patterns of cortisol production, we developed an intervention component that targets children’s regulatory capabilities.

Publications
Publications from the last several years have concerned challenges facing children who have experienced early adversity, and neuroendccrine regulation.
